More macrame

Over the past few weeks I have been working on some new macrame pot holders. Using different knots and weights, I have started a small collection that is gradually filling my room.

Here are some patchwork samples I've been sewing up this week. I've really enjoyed playing around with block colours and patterns to create new fabrics, soon they will be turned into something useful!

 

Macrame Sunday

I have wanted to make a macrame pot holder for ages, and this Sunday I lived the dream. A little bit more practice and a healthier plant, and I think these could be covering my home very quickly.

January in Paris

In January I moved to Paris for the month, it gave me some space to come up with some new designs. Here are some of the ideas I'm working on, along with a couple of images from my trip.

A bit early... but I have designed and printed some Christmas cards to sell and give to friends this year. I'm making an animation that has come from these designs which I will post soon.
